WASHINGTON, July 13. 10, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Fragrance Creators Association (Fragrance Creators) today released the following statement from President and CEO Farah K. Ahmed today recognizing the Biden-Harris administration for its work to support state and local efforts to invest in infrastructure and a diverse workforce:

“Fragrance Creators was pleased to attend the White House Summit on the US Bailout and Workforce today. As the trade association representing the US fragrance industry, our member companies continue to prioritize meaningful and proactive investments in a diverse workforce today and for the future. The thriving fragrance industry relies on workers with a unique combination of skills in science, technology , Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM). The fragrance industry is also a pioneer in green chemistry, recycling and ethical sourcing, giving us great appreciation for the passage of the Infrastructure Bill last year and the prioritization by Congress and the administration of investments in sustainable infrastructure in the United States.

“Members of Fragrance Creators represent the majority of fragrance manufacturing in the United States. Our perspectives and contributions reflect the diversity of the fragrance value chain in the United States, from small family businesses to the largest consumer packaged goods in the world.This diversity is essential to maintain a competitive market, ensuring essential fragrance inputs in essential products and promoting consumer access to affordable everyday products.
