According to a leaked document, the base model Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is the cheapest SUV compared to its rivals, costing Rs. 9.5 lakh, ex-showroom. The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, the sister product of the Grand Vitara, and the Kia Seltos, both priced at Rs. 10.19 lakh, are the next closest prices. (All costs are ex-showroom.)

Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha are the last four versions of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara; the intelligent electric hybrid is only available on the Zeta+ and Alpha+ models, which are the first two. The features of several variants vary, but the general dimensions remain the same.
Engine and transmission
A mild-hybrid powertrain is offered with the Sigma version. It is powered by a 1.5-liter “Smart Hybrid” petrol engine, capable of developing 100 hp of maximum power and 136.8 Nm of maximum torque. This model only comes with a 5-speed manual transmission. The second model, called Delta, comes with an automatic transmission. The starting price of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara automatic is Rs. 12.50 lakh for the Delta automatic.

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Sigma model is equipped with full wheel covers and 17-inch tires. Two-tone alloy wheels are included from the Zeta version. Additionally, it has two-tone interiors, a 4.2-inch information display, bi-halogen projector headlamps, LED DRLs, ORVMs with turn signals, adjustable steering, steering wheel-mounted radio controls, keyless entry, reclining rear seats and rear air conditioning. vents.
It has two front airbags, rear parking sensors, ESP and hill hold assist for added safety.
While the Grand Vitara and the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder have similar specs, the base model Kia Seltos has four airbags but only 16-inch wheels. The base model of the Hyundai Creta also has 16-inch wheels, dual airbags and ABS with EBD.
The Hyundai Creta is the main rival of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. Other competitors include the Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq and its Toyota sibling, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
Since its launch on July 11, Maruti Suzuki has reportedly received more than 20,000 reservations for the Grand Vitara SU. According to the company, the top versions Zeta and Alpha accounted for more than half of all bookings.
