The 2021 Emmys may be over, but there is still one winner to declare: best and worst dressed.
We’ve rounded up some of the night’s most talked-about looks and asked Yahoo Canada’s readers to vote on which stars they think deserve the title of best and worst dressed on the 2021 Emmy red carpet.
People have spoken, and the winners (and losers) have been chosen! Check out the best and worst looks of the night, according to you.
BEST: Catherine Zeta-Jones
Yahoo Canada Readers couldn’t get enough of Zeta-Jones’ strapless crimson dress by Cristina Ottaviano. The 51-year-old Oscar winner took home the title of best dressed of the night, garnering 34% of readers’ votes. Zeta-Jones paired her sleek look with dazzling jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz and matching silk heels from Christian Louboutin for a look fit for a red carpet queen.
FINAL: Yara Shahidi
Our readers recognize the great style when they see it, and while Zeta-Jones may have won the crown as the red carpet winner, Shahidi comes in second in our poll with 24% of the vote. The “Grown-ish” and “Black-ish” star opted for a vintage-inspired, off-the-shoulder, belted evening gown from Christian Dior for a look that channeled old Hollywood glamor in spades.
WORST: Aidy Bryant
Although she might be one of the funniest women on TV, Yahoo Canada readers weren’t fans of Bryant’s personalized look by Simone Rocha. The 34-year-old “Saturday Night Live” and “Shrill” star’s moss green look with embroidered floral details and a matching headband received 36% of readers’ votes to be declared the worst look of the night.
FINAL: Emma Corrin
It was a blow to Corrin and her Miu Miu haute couture look. While Yahoo Canada Readers may like her work as Princess Diana in the hit series “The Crown”, they weren’t fans of her odd red carpet ensemble with claw beanie and gloves.
Corrin garnered 34% of the reader votes, making her red carpet a faux pas as a finalist for Worst Dressed Star at the 2021 Emmys.
